SWEAT LODGE CEREMONY
Take a journey inside the womb of mother earth, bringing awareness to the darker places within ourselves and shedding all that no longer serves us.. We invite you to join us for a time to connect to our prayers, give thanks, and make offerings to the earth mother and the elementals, as we celebrate all of life and purify our mind, body, & spirit.
WHEN:  10:00 A.M. Saturday May 8th (Please arrive atleast 30 minutes early so you may have time to prepare to enter the lodge)
WHERE:  DHARMA RIDGE in the Santa Cruz mountains (directions below)
WHAT TO BRING: A healthy dish for a potluck feast after the meal, water, towel, offering* WHAT TO WEAR: Men- shorts, Women- A long dress (This is to honor the traditional way of dress for native ceremony)

~ $10-$20 Suggested Donation. No one will be turned away for lack of funds or offerings~ *It is traditional to bring an offering to the facilitators as an expression of gratitude for the healing benefits of the sweat lodge purification ceremony. It has been said that in order to fully receive that which you are coming for, it is first necessary to give something in order to create a space within yourself to receive the gift/healing you are seeking.  This offering may include sage, tobacco, sweet grass, cedar, fire wood, yarrow, mullen, osha root, sweat stones, money or anything that you feel inspired to give from your heart.  Donations will go towards covering the cost of supplies and supporting future ceremonies.
